
Christine Prestgard is a Clinical Social Worker with experience providing mental health services across outpatient counseling and community-based settings. She specializes in assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health concerns.
Christine earned her Master of Social Work from Arizona State University in 2024, following graduate studies in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. Her professional experience includes clinical internships and counseling roles with South Point Counseling Services, Suncrest Counseling, Mountain View Family Therapy, and Eagle Mountain Counseling, where she provided therapy services, conducted biopsychosocial assessments, developed treatment plans, and collaborated with multidisciplinary care teams to support client stabilization and long-term progress.
In addition to her clinical work, Christine has experience in behavioral intervention services, clinical research, healthcare administration, and community service initiatives. She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), play therapy, and sand tray therapy. She is also certified in domestic violence assessment and group facilitation.
