As part of the team at Sol Recovery Community, Steffy works as a Case Manager, bringing both professional experience and lived experience into her work every day. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, trafficking, homelessness, addiction, and incarceration, she is deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating complex systems and rebuilding their lives.
Steffy works closely within the housing program, helping individuals access safe and stable housing while navigating the real barriers that often stand in the way. In addition to housing support, she provides case management, sexual assault and domestic violence advocacy, and mobile HIV and Hepatitis C outreach. Through peer support and community-based care, she meets people where they are, offering connection, resources, and support without judgment.
Her work is centered on eliminating stigma and breaking down systemic barriers that too often keep people stuck or overlooked. Steffy is passionate about advocating for others and creating space for people to be seen, heard, and supported. She understands firsthand what it takes to keep going, and she walks alongside individuals every step of the way.
Steffy leads with compassion above all else, working to bridge gaps in services and create real pathways to stability and recovery. For her, this work is more than a role, it’s personal.
Her message is simple and unwavering: you can never give up, you matter, and we are in this together.
